According to Minghui.Net many resignations from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) were recently publicly posted in Jilin city, arousing the interest of local citizens.

CCP Resignation Statement in Newspaper Office Corridor

Early on the morning of March 20, 2005, Ms. Xia Qinglian’s resignation statement from the CCP appeared in the corridor of the Jiangchen Daily newspaper, owned by the Chinese Communist Party. People doing their morning exercises saw it posted and stopped in twos and threes to read it.

The statement in the hallway said, “I am an ordinary citizen of Jiangcheng. Out of ignorance, when I was young, I joined the Chinese Young Pioneers (CYP), Communist Youth League (CYL), and CCP. Only after reading the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party did I understand that the eight decades of the CCP’s history has been that of continuous deception, chaos caused by war, famine, dictatorship, slaughter, and threats… Now I am withdrawing from all of the CCP’s evil organizations.”

Statement of Resignation in an Army Residential District

	Morning of March 3, 2005, local citizens of Jilin City read resignations from the CCP in a busy downtown area.

Jilin army residential district 65117 is located in a central area in Jilin City across from a sternly guarded Jilin military region office. On March 26, 2005, before dawn two statements of resignation appeared on the two front doors of the residential district. One was from an active duty officer and the other from a Jilin resident who had been in the Party for more than 40 years.

Wang Zhuoyue wrote: “I am an active duty officer. I joined the CYP and CYL when I was young, then wished to join the CCP to dedicate my life to peoples’ struggles. With age and experience, I have seen more and more of the corruption of Communists leaders, especially the Party relentlessly teaching the army that the Party’s interests surpass anything, including moral and national interest. When the party wants to murder and kill, they murder and kill. Under the Party culture, the human mind becomes uglier and uglier, and human morals become weaker and weaker.”

“I am thankful for the best gift The Epoch Times could give to the Chinese people- “The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party.” It allowed me to wake up and clearly see the CCP’s evil nature and its inevitable demise. I am therefore determined to part with the Communist Party’s evil spirit. I solemnly declare my resignation from all the CCP organizations I have participated in and from here on out I am determined to be a genuinely good person.”

Wang Zhuoyue lastly suggested that other soldiers and common people withdrawal from the CCP as well. Using a nickname as an alias at the bottom of his resignation saved room for others to sign.

The other resignation was from Liu Zhanpeng, who had been in the Party for more than 40 years. He wrote: “The CCP has always been ‘lies, evil, struggle’ and does not care if people live or die. I firmly withdraw from the CCP in order to gain a new life.”

Seven-person Joint Resignation from the CCP

On the morning of March 25, 2005, a scarlet paper about 1 meter long and 0.5 meter wide appeared in a busy section in fron of the Jilin Railway Station. It was a joint statement of seven people resigning from the CCP.

The aliases of the seven were Lie Feng, Liu Hui, Yin Ming, Yin Yisheng, Qu Qin, Liu Song, and Yang Fan. In summary, their resignation stated: Over the past several dozen years, the CCP has always whitewashed its crimes and deceived its citizens. The CCP’s history is filled with the tragedy of murder. After reading the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, we realized that the CCP lacks any righteousness and will inevitably self-destruct. We need only wait for the fate of the CCP’s eradication. We wish to cut off all relations with the Party and immediately break free from the evil spirit in order to avoid disaster and find safety for ourselves when the CCP’s end comes.

The posted joint resignation from the CCP aroused enormous interest from the public. Some people engaged in discussions to the side, while a group of students stopped to read the letter. A few elderly persons did not say anything after they finished reading and quickly left. Several people driving past even stopped their vehicles to read the resignation as they passed by.
