At the “March 26th Demonstration,” the grand demonstration held in Taiwan opposing the Anti-Separation Law, two banners stood out: “500 Thousand Chinese People Resigned from the Chinese Communist Party” and “’The Nine Commentaries’ is the best Antidote to the Anti-Separation Law.”
At the crossroad of South Jianguo Street and East Heping Street, seven people held a 12-meter-long golden banner saying: “The 'Nine Commentaries' is the best Antidote to the Anti-Secession Law”. The "Nine Commentaries" on the banner refers to the “The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party” published by The Epoch Times.
Volunteers were passing out copies of this book everywhere at the demonstration site. Almost all the participants in the demonstration had a copy in their hands. A member from the Association of Professors took five copies, stating that he would share them with his students.
One gentleman who was distributing “The Nine Commentaries” explained to the public at the demonstration that reading “The Nine Commentaries” would help people understand the true picture of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP): all that is left isan empty shell, and Taiwan does not need to be afraid of the CCP at all.
Many people came up and asked for “The Nine Commentaries;” by 1 p.m. every copy that the organizers had brought, tens of thousands, had been handed out to the crowd. Many visitors expressed that people on the other side of the strait (Mainland China) should read the book.
Booths were set up at the four entrances of Da’an Forest Park to assist the Chinese public in resigning from the CCP. People actively signed their names on pieces of cloth. Toward the end of the day, they had to sign in smaller print as each piece of the cloth was totally filled with signatures and space was running out. Many people stated that,“Through signing our names we express our love of Taiwan and emphasize that people should not be separated by political parties. We also hope people in Mainland China will live as happily as people in Taiwan."

One father brought his children to the demonstration. When he signed his name, he explained that the reason he stepped out to support this activity is the benefits it would bring for the next generation.
Mr. Chen, who came to Taiwan from Los Angeles just for this demonstration, showed his complete support to the resignation from the CCP and stated with confidence that the CCP would definitely dissolve in the near future.
He described how the CCP uses its broad economic influence to draw funds and media attention from international society and uses its seat on the United Nation’s Security Council to do things according to its will. However, the CCP only seems powerful on the surface. Currently the human rights situation has been very well established in most places of the world. Dictatorship by one political party will no longer be able to control people’s life at will.
Therefore although the CCP seems to be strong, its totalitarian regime is the source of disorder to world peace. Mr. Chen expressed his belief that righteousness will eventually defeat evil and that the CCP will collapse sooner or later.
One little girl came to the demonstration from Sanchong City, bringing her three little puppies with her. She wanted to tell the people in Mainland China that we are all human beings on this earth, that we should not have war and that we should live together peacefully.
