Police at Longshan Forced Labor Camp, in Shenyang City, accused of disfiguring the face of an escaped inmate, are searching for the woman.
Gao Rongrong, whose face was disfigured, allegedly by shocks from electric batons at the hands of labor camp personnel, escaped with help from the No. 1 Hospital, affiliated with the China Medical University, on Oct. 5. Authorities immediately issued an order for her arrest. The Central Government’s 610 Office and the Bureau of Justice of Shenyang City directed a widespread search.
According to Minghui.net’s source in Mainland China, the Bureau of Justice of Shenyang City issued a bulletin for Ms. Gao’s arrest to every public security bureau, train line, airlines, and public security department surrounding Shenyang. The bureau also delivered the bulletin to neighborhood administrative offices, surrounding communities, residential committees in the region, information centers, local real estate agents, and housekeeping service companies.

According to the bulletin, Gao is thin, weighing only 88 pounds, has an “obvious scar” on the left side of her face, and can’t walk independently. The photo in the bulletin, however, shows a pretty face without any scars.
