Homebrewers, rejoice—you can now brew your favorite craft beer in your backyard, thanks to a new guide from the American Homebrewers Association (AHA). The 50-State Commercial Clone Beer Recipes guide, released last month, is a compilation of 50 recipes from 50 craft breweries around the nation, one per state. The recipes have been scaled down to 5- to 10- gallon batches for homebrewers’ convenience.

The guide celebrates local, independent breweries and pays tribute to their roots.

“Many professional craft brewers got started as homebrewers in their kitchens and backyards,” Gary Glass, director of the AHA, said in a press release. Both homebrewing and the craft beer industry have continued to expand nationwide, and according to the AHA, more than 1.2 million Americans brew beer at home. Now they can add their favorite local beers to their repertoires.

The lineup features both established and up-and-coming brews, spanning pale ales to pilsners—and even a few meads. Homebrewers can try their hand at heavy hitters like the coveted Pliny the Elder from Russian River Brewing Co. of Santa Rosa, Calif., voted the nation’s number one beer for eight consecutive years by AHA members. Or there’s the beloved Two Hearted Ale from Bell’s Brewery of Kalamazoo, Mich., which rose to steal the title in 2017. Other standouts include Brooklyn Brewery’s Brooklyn Lager, Melvin Brewing’s Melvin-Style IPA, and Alaskan Brewing Co.’s Alaskan Smoked Porter.

“By sharing these recipes,” Glass said, “we are thrilled to spread the love of beer and the art of making it.”
