Robert Downey, Jr. and his wife Susan have a new movie and a new baby on the way.

In the upcoming film “The Judge,” he plays the lead role of a high-flying lawyer who has to defend his father against murder charges and she’s the producer.

RDJ spoke with Entertainment Tonight’s Rocsi Diaz about a slew of topics ranging from becoming a father to second chances. Watch above or read about it below.

On George Clooney’s marriage to Amal Alamuddin

RDJ: “Well, they’re already doing it right. That’s very romantic. But what do I know?”

Diaz: “To be married for so long in Hollywood — “

RDJ: “You’re right. Do everything exactly how I did it, and you’ll be all right.”

On expecting a baby girl — Downey and his wife’s second child — this November

Diaz: “You know, having a little girl means it’s payback for everything you do when you’re younger.”

RDJ: “Well, let’s see about that.”

Diaz: “She’ll have attitude and mood swings, and she’ll want to borrow your car.”

RDJ: “I don’t want to be a pushover. I hear about these pushover dads, you know what I mean? I want to be the fair but firm dad. I want her to fear and respect me.”

Diaz: “You’re so gonna be a pushover.”

RDJ: “I’m so going to be…”

Diaz [to Susan Downey]: “What’s going to happen with a girl in the house?

Susan Downey: “I have no idea. I have no idea what to do with a little girl. For some reason I understood little boys, because I grew up with two brothers. I got that. There was no girl around. This is  going to be a really fun adventure for both of us.”

On “The Judge,” the first film produced by the Downeys’ joint company, Team Downey

RDJ: “I just don’t want to let my wife down. I don’t want the producer to be bad at me, either, because that’s no fun.”

RDJ: “There have been so many roles since I stopped doing all that stuff where it’s like, you’re smoking a fake joint, everyone’s drinking, and this and that. It’s not that you don’t relate to it, and you don’t acknowledge it, it’s just so not part of what you are anymore.”

Diaz: “Your style has evolved.”

RDJ: “I think my skin has improved.”
