Exactly 45 after Sen. Robert F. Kennedy was shot and killed, there are reports of documentation showing how a doctor rushed to his aid.

Dr. Ross Miller, the father of CBS News correspondent Michelle Miller, was called to assist Kennedy after the Democratic senator was gunned down at the Ambassador Hotel on June 5, 1968, the broadcaster reported.

“He rushed, and it took some time to get back there,” Michelle Miller said. “People didn’t believe he was actually a doctor; he was an African American man.”

When Miller got to the hotel, he found five people on the ground, including Kennedy.

Miller was not pictured in a famous Life magazine picture of the assassination aftermath.

Miller said that she found a FBI report in the CBS archive listing her father as the doctor.

“I knew he was an excellent surgeon. But to see him in a crisis act with such precision,” said Miller. “It just sent goose pimples through me.” She added. “I’m proud, I’m proud of my dad.”

Sirhan Sirhan, Palestinian immigrant, was convicted in the murder of Kennedy. However, his lawyers claimed that he was framed.

In 2011, his attorneys said that he should be released from prison “or granted a new trial based on ‘formidable evidence’, asserting his innocence and ‘horrendous violations’ of his rights.”

Framed! Lets ask Rosey Grier if he was framed .

  • silence dogood

At this point and for a long time Sirhan has been a political prisoner. Had he tried to shot a conservative he would have been released a long time ago.

Juris prudence doesn’t care if he changed the course of history.
