Omarosa fired: Donald Trump fired Omarosa on “Celebrity Apprentice” Monday night, and the show’s Facebook page exploded with jubilation from fans. She discussed the move on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” on Monday.
Omarosa, the business woman fans love to hate, was fired by Donald Trump on Monday night’s episode of “Celebrity Apprentice.”
She appeared on “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon” on Monday night, where she said “I should have been gone episode one.”
She said other contestants should have done more to eliminate her when they had chances in earlier episodes, because “You don’t want to leave a winner in the game.”
Fallon explained why he thought she was on the show for so long: “That’s why you’re on the show, because they think you need to have a villain on the show.”
“I’m not a villain; I’m just a really shrewd business woman. When women are strong in the boardroom, we get all kinds of labels.”
Is Omarosa the same person in real life as she is on reality television?
She said it’s a game, and she does what needs to be done. Fallon said he thinks she is a nice person. Although she pointed out, he’d expressed his contempt for her character on his show before and said she should be fired.
Omarosa raised $40,000 through her work on “Celebrity Apprentice” for Sue Duncan’s Children Center in Chicago.
She will appear on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) at 10 p.m. EST on Tuesday, April 2. A preview on shows her recounting the day her late fiancee, actor Michael Clarke Duncan, stopped breathing.
At least one fan will be sad to see Omarosa go. Tosin Ola tweeted: “#celebrityapprentice should be called the @OMAROSA show. She runs it, owns it, and controls it. I tune in every week just to watch her.”
The vast majority of messages on the show’s Facebook page rejoiced at Omarosa’s dismissal. Several began with “Ding dong … .”
