Fans, get ready for the season two premiere of “Orange Is the New Black” that will be back on Netflix June 6, 2o14, where we get to learn about the stories of criminals’ past. Plus there will be some new characters added to the 13 episode season of the Netflix original series.
“The mysterious Vee will be introduced as the new inmate of Litchfield Prison, while Alex Vause will be exiting the prison. Laura Prepon, who plays Vause, will appear in only four episodes in Season 2 of ‘Orange is the New Black,'” said creator of the show Jenji Kohan during an interview at the PaleyFest via Breathecast.
Lead actress Piper Chapman (Taylor Schilling) will have flashbacks from her childhood where she remembers her misdeeds.
“I think that Piper is in a different situation than she’s ever been in … The circumstances of her life are more extreme than they’ve ever been. So she’s finding new ways to cope, and that’s branding out new sides of her,” Schilling said, according to the website.
The cast for the upcoming season will include Danielle Brooks as Tasha ‘Taystee’ Jefferson, Laura Prepon as Alex Vause, Alysia Reiner as Natalie Figueroa, Taryn Manning as Tiffany ‘Pennsatucky’ Doggett, among many others.
