PERTH, Australia—“Beautifully synchronised,” said Alan Hopkins, CEO of Pan Asia Corp, after seeing Shen Yun Performing Arts at The Regal Theatre, on May 2, with his wife.
“Beautiful costumes! Everyone was well presented, the moves are fantastic, and it’s very entertaining,” he said.
Mr, Hopkins said his wife organised the tickets for Shen Yun because they had read reviews of the performances in other cities in Australia and were looking forward to seeing it themselves. He said they were very pleased that Shen Yun had come to Perth.
The Shen Yun website explains, “Through the universal language of music and dance, Shen Yun weaves a wondrous tapestry of heavenly realms, ancient legends, and modern heroic tales, taking you on a journey through 5,000 years of Chinese culture. Its stunning beauty and tremendous energy leave audiences uplifted and inspired.”
“Everything is just so beautiful. We were very impressed,” he said. “They make it look really easy. I thought it was great.”
Mr. Hopkins appreciated the journey of 5000 years. He said, “You can see the visuals and get a feel for the way they were in those times, it’s a lot of time to cover in a short period of time, but it gave a good snapshot.”
Shen Yun uses state-of-the-art digital backdrops which takes the audience on a journey to spectacular landscapes and heavenly realms.
“Even the visual effects were great,” said Mr. Hopkins.
