The Walking Dead Spoilers: What Happens to Beth and the Others? (Episodes 14, 15, 16)

The most shocking moment of The Walking Dead season 3 episode 13 was when Daryl ran out of the house only to find the bag Beth was carrying on the ground and a car speeding away.

His frantic search didn’t turn up anything and it’s unclear what exactly happened to Beth, though the way it happened suggested that she was abducted.

Lauren Cohan, who plays Maggie, told The Hollywood Reporter that “there’s not going to be a quick resolve to that situation.”

“It gets very scary,” she said. “This whole situation that Daryl has found himself in gets really scary. We should be pretty worried about everyone.”

She was asked whether whomever kidnapped Beth is connected to the group questioning Daryl (and the same group that Rick encountered).

“I don’t actually know yet — that’s how scary it is! I don’t like the sound of this group at all or what’s happened to Beth,” she said. “It’s very creepy.”

However, it looks like we might not find out anything new about the situation in episode 14.

The promotion for “The Grove” indicates that it focuses primarily on Tyreese, Carol, the girls, and Judith.

The promo trailer shows some big trouble for the group as they have to deal with the baby as they’re traveling. So far, although a man told them about Terminus, they haven’t seen any signs for the possible safe haven, so they might not stick to walking on the tracks.

The scariest part of the promo sees Carol possibly letting Mika get eaten by walkers as Mika screams for help. While Carol has become more cold-hearted, she might save Mika after all.

This episode looks like it also includes the other groups, because the episode description says that “After establishing a new shelter, the group considers things returning to the way they used to be.”

Not much has come out so far for episode 15 or episode 16–the season finale.

The official descriptions are below:

15 — “Survivors rely on brutality and faith.”

16 — “Many paths collide; Rick faces sheer brutality; the group struggles to survive.”

Episode 16 could include another appearance by Morgan Jones, because Lennie James, the actor who plays him, is credited as part of the episode. That could be a flashback type scenario. In one of these episodes, a group of cannibals called The Hunters might appear.

In the comic books, The Hunters are confronted by Rick, Carl, and others in the group as they’re searching for a missing Dale (which has obviously gone differently in the show). Chris, the leader, tells Rick that they became cannibals to survive, figuring it was easier to kill loners or small groups of humans than hunting animals. Rick’s group ends up killing them.
