Star-Crossed Season 2: Will CW Show Be Canceled Soon?

Star-Crossed on CW is going to be canceled, it was reported.

The show’s premiere ratings were so bad that Zap2It’s prediction blog says that the show will be canceled. Only 0.4 million adults 18-49 tuned in, it said.

Other CW shows on the block include Beauty and the Beast and The Tomorrow People.

Reign, Arrow, Vampire Diaries, Supernatural, and The Originals have all been renewed.

Hart of Dixie is very likely to be renewed while The Carrie Diaries is very likely to be canceled.

There are several new series debuting on CW soon, including “The 100″ on March 19.

For Star-Crossed, two episodes have aired.

There are four more set for season 1, with the last slated for March 24.

I like Star Crossed and wish more people would watch it. I don’t think they should have put it up against the Olympics and The Voice. A little bit of promotion would have been nice too.

I hope CW picks up Star Crossed. This show had little promotion, bad start time during the year and had no lead in. Given what it has been working with, this show is doing great. Please pick it up CW!!!

There will be 13 episodes of season 1, not 4. And the total rating for the first episode was 1.2 million, which was better than both HoD and BatB. Also the CW put it on worst time ever, airing the first episode when the Olympics where airing and putting it on a monday, so if you see to that its pretty good rating after all

I hate that they rate by the broadcast key demo which is 18-45. Where most of the CWs shows including star-crossed have a younger audience. They should look at social media buzz too. I hope they don’t cancel it. They should cancel hart of Dixie, beauty and the beast, Carrie dairies although I loved thar show and the tomorrow people.. They have four pilots coming in for next season..maybe five.. This makes most sense to me..
