PlayStation Plus: Free PS Games Leak in March for PS4, PS3, Vita; User Reportedly Gets 20 Years Free Service
PlayStation Plus’s March free games have already been leaked online this week, a report said.
The website Game Points Now posted the games, and according to Gamezone, the website has been correct about leaks in the past.
For the PlayStation 4, “Dead Nation,” will be free in March. And for the PlayStation 3, “Tomb Raider” and “Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons” will also be free on PS Plus.
For the Vita, “Smart As” and “Pixeljunk Monsters Ultimate HD” are free.
“Dead Nation” is a top-down isometric shooter that received critical acclaim upon release. “Tomb Raider” was also met with praise last year.
Sony has not confirmed if these games will be released in March.
Another report said that in mid-February, more games will be free. “Leaving the Instant Game Collection – Poker Night 2” for PS3 and “Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed” for the PS Vita will be available on Tuesday, Feb. 18.
“Entering the Instant Game Collection – Remember Me” will also be free for the PS3 and either “Street Fighter x Tekken” for the PS Vita or “ModNation Racers: Road Trip” for the PS Vita” will be available, reports said.
This week, a PS4 user allegedly discovered a loophole that gave him 20 years of free service on the PS Plus.
An anonymous tipster told the VG247 website that he got 20 years of free service without paying for it, meaning he’s got service until 2035.
“I never had PS+ so I decided to give it a try on my shiny new PS4. A new ad in the PS Store advertises 14 days free of PS+ if you have never had the service before,” he was quoted as saying. ”Once you accept the deal, you are allowed to keep extending the 14 free days for free once prompted after confirmation of the free purchase. All you have to do is keep pressing X and you keep getting 14 free days added to your free subscription. The hundreds of email confirmations from Sony all say $0.00.”
He also posted a sceenshot of the alleged free service.
