JC Penney has gotten weird during Super Bowl 48, leading some to question whether the company got hacked–but the company revealed that it was tweeting while wearing Go Team USA mittens.
JC Penney tweeted twice during the game, in tweets full of misspelled words.
“Who kkmew theis was ghiong tob e a baweball ghamle. #lowsscorinh 5_0″ said the first one.
Another one read: “Toughdown Seadawks!! Is sSeattle going toa runaway wit h this???”
It later said that “Oops…Sorry for the typos. We were #TweetingWithMittens. Wasn’t it supposed to be colder? Enjoy the game!”
