Rick Dyer: Man Behind Possible Bigfoot Hoax Releases More Pictures of Beast

Rick Dyer, who claims he shot and killed a Bigfoot creature, has released more pictures of the alleged beast.

Dyer says he killed the creature in September 2012, but spent over a year obtaining tests from an unspecified university.

“Bigfoot is 100 percent real — there’s no question about that,” Dyer told broadcaster KSAT.

“I have been worried for so long. I have been put off for so long, and finally we went up to Washington (state) and we got the body,” Dyer said. “Every test that you can possibly imagine was performed on this body — from DNA tests to 3D optical scans to body scans. It is the real deal. It’s Bigfoot and Bigfoot’s here, and I shot it and now I’m proving it to the world.”

Now Dyer is finalizing arrangements for a North America tour so that people can view the body–for a fee.

“I’m negotiating with 10 different venues that all want us,” he told the NY Daily News, adding that the tour will begin on February 6 in Flagstaff, Arizona.

That contradicts other information, on Bigfoottoday.com, that says the tour begins in January 2014 in San Antonio, with stops across Texas.

The animal was eight feet tall and four feet wide, weighing over 800 pounds, Dyer claims.

A taxidermist preserved the body, Dyer’s marketing manager Andrew Clacy said.

“I’ve heard people say it’s fake. They haven’t seen the body. They haven’t studied it,” he said. “They’re just guessing. They’re not an expert in what they’re talking about.”

The university that studied the creature is in Washington state, Clacy said, and the tests included body scans and DNA tests.

The body was examined by a university laboratory in Washington state. The scar on the body is from an autopsy.

The animal looks like a cross between a human and a gorilla.

The DNA tests revealed that it is an unknown species, according to Clacy.

“There’s no DNA of a current animal,” he said. “It came back unknown.”

Dyer has come under criticism for a situation in 2008 where he and others claimed to have found a Bigfoot body but that was revealed to be a hoax.

He said in one of his YouTube videos that the current situation “is about redeeming myself,” and told viewers that “we’re not going to hide anything about you.”

“I see a lot of untruths being spread around,” Dyer said in another video. “We said they would get a photo and try to totally destroy it. Unfortunately for them, they have failed.”

Rick Dyer is a con man with a long history of fraud. He perpetrated the
2008 Georgia bigfoot-costume-in-a-freezer hoax and several other lesser-known
bigfoot hoaxes since then. This one is a hoax too. Have a look at his
    purported kill site: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=1459646030913541&set=a.1459646077580203.1073741830.100006044734091&type=1&theater

In the middle of San Antonio, next to highways and shopping centers,
where he says not one, but a group of bigfoots hang out. No evidence presented in 16
months, press conference has been cancelled, and he has refused the requests of several experts and professionals who offered to validate his claims. His latest claim is that he also killed a baby bigfoot that night and will be getting the “body” soon. Google and learn. http://www.bigfoottrackernews.com has been documenting this hoax from the beginning.

The best case scenario is that Dyer is still a liar and a fraud. If such a species exists, or any undiscovered/rare species anyone might find….why would you KILL it? That is completely despicable, unnecessary, and not in the interest of anyone.

There is no reason why a large bi-pedal mammal could not exist on our planet, and we have no reason to assume we know everything that IS here. With widely uninhabited areas across the globe, with abundant food sources and water, anything is possible. New species are found every single day all over the world. Certainly 1000’s of people report seeing large creatures, and foot prints have been found. Definite proof? No, but it is possible. Let’s just hope that if they are around, they never have the misfortune of meeting Mr. Dyer.

I have a question, is a Bigfoot considered a human being?
