Jerry Digman Dead: Wife Pamela Digman Charged in Shooting of Chief Arkansas Ranger

Jerry Digman, the chief ranger of Arkansas State Parks and Tourism, was found dead in his home in Roland.

His wife Pamela Digman was arrested and charged with first-degree murder, reported KATV.

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement that deputies responded to the home in reference to a shooting shortly before noon, and identified the dead victim as Digman.

Digman previously worked for the Arkansas State Police for a number of years.

    ROLAND, Ark. (KTHV) – The chief ranger of Arkansas State Parks and Tourism (ASPT) was shot and killed Sunday.

    According to Lt. Carl Minden with the Pulaski County Sheriff’s
    office, Jerry Digman was shot around 11:30 a.m. in the 23900 block along
    Highway 300 in Roland. Deputies said his wife, Pamela Digman told them
    she shot him during an argument.

    Jerry Digman was shot several times and died at the scene.

    Pamela Digman has been charged with first-degree murder and is
    being held at the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility without
