Many children seem wise beyond their years or like “old souls,” but some have said things that truly seem to hearken back to previous lives.

Parents have shared their stories via social media; many say their children have talked about tragic deaths followed by happier lives this time around.

1. When my son was 3, he told me that he really likes his new daddy, he’s really nice. My husband is his one and only daddy. I asked ‘Why is that?’

He replied: ‘My old daddy was really mean. He stabbed me in the back and I died. But I really like my new daddy, he’d never do that to me.’

2. When I was a little girl, I lost [it] when I saw some guy at the grocery store. It was unusual, because I was generally quiet and well behaved. I never had to be taken out of somewhere for misbehaving, but we had to leave the store.

When my mom asked what was wrong when we got in the car, I told her he took me away from my first mom and hid me under his floor and made me sleep for a long time until I woke up with my new mom.

I then refused to sit in the seat of the car on the ride home, but insisted on cowering under the dash board so he couldn’t take me again. It freaked her … out, as she is definitely my biological mother, so obviously my ‘first’ mom.

3. Getting my 2-and-a-half-year-old daughter out of the bath one night, my wife and I were briefing her on how important it was she kept her privates clean. She casually replied: ‘Oh, nobody “scroofs” me there. They tried one night. They kicked the door in and tried, but I fought back. I died and now I’m here.’

She said this like it was nothing.

4. ‘Before I was born here, I had a sister, right? Her and my other mom are so old now. They were OK when the car was on fire, but I sure wasn’t!’

He was maybe 5 or 6 years old. It was totally out of the blue.

5. When my little sister was younger, she used to walk around the house with a picture frame with a picture of my great grandpa in her hands crying and saying, “I miss you Harvey.”

Harvey had died before even I was born. Other than this common occurrence, my mom told me that she would constantly say things that my great grandma Lucy would say.

6. When my little sister first started talking, she used to say some really disturbing things. She used to tell us about how her old family would put things inside of her and would make her cry, but her Daddy eventually burned her so much that she was able to find us, her new family.

She spoke about things like that from the ages of almost 2 to 4. She was much too young to have ever been exposed to any content where children, or anyone else could [experience those things], so my family has always thought she held memories of a prior life.

7. Between the ages of 2 and 6, my son would tell me the same story of how he picked me to be his mother.

He said something about being with a man in a suit and picking a mother that would help him accomplish his souls mission. … We didn’t discuss spirituality … nor was he raised in any sort of religious environment.

The way he described it was that it was similar to grocery shopping, that he was in a bright room with people who were lined up like dolls, and that he picked me. The man in the suit asked him if he was sure, he replied that he was, and then he was born.

My son also had an early fascination with WWII era planes. He could identify them, their parts, what region they were used in, and the like. I still have no idea where he got that information. I’m a science gal, his dad is a math guy.

We have always called him ‘Grandpa,’ because of his peaceful and gingerly demeanor. This kid seriously has an old soul.

8. My nephew when he first began really talking in sentences told my sister and her husband that he was ‘so happy he picked them.’ And then went on to say that before he was a baby he was in a bright room and saw lots of people and he ‘picked his Mom because she had a nice face.’

9.  My older sister was born the year my Dad’s mom died. According to my dad, as soon as my sister was old enough to say the words, she said ‘I am your mother.’

10. According to my mom, when I was younger, I would tell her about how I had died in a fire a long time ago. I don’t remember that, but one of my biggest fears is my house burning down. Just being around open fire scares me.

I recommend reading FLIPSIDE: A Tourist’s Guide on How To Navigate the Afterlife by Richard Martini. It is a collection of stories from people who have had past-life and life-between-life regressions gained through hypnotism. If you’re not one to open your mind to these things, then it’s not for you. But then, neither is this story. I’m talkin’ to you Denier.

Anyway, great book; documentary as well. If one has an Amazon Kindle or their free software, the digital version can be purchased for only $0.99.

I just kinda “fell into” past lives therapy when a woman came to me and reported seeing a light with her mother and grandmother in it. She began crying and I asked her why. She said because she loved them SO much and they had been dead for many years. Then she slid into a past life memory of being in a railway car… standing room only… and they stopped the train in the middle of the forest, opened the door, and pushed her crippled brother in his wheelchair out the door… because he would not be able to work in the concentration camp. After that, I helped many people recover memories that perfectly explained why they had the ‘issue’ they had this lifetime. I think of past lives therapy as the most powerful healing tool on the planet. Amazingly efficient and effective. I always advise parents to listen to their children and to hear their stories, making sure they come to a place of peace, so they won’t have to come to a therapist like me, to heal them in the future. My understanding is that this planet is a hospital and we are here to recall past life trauma, to recognize that what broke us in the past is gone, we are safe here and now, and thereby ‘remember’ – put ourselves back together again. Beautiful stories. Thank you for sharing them.

I learned about reincarnation from a cat. My best cat buddy passed away and shortly thereafter I started having strange dreams about him coming back. And the circumstances of him returning were all related to events on those dreams. Quite the amazing and pleasant experience.

If people believe in the spiritual, it would be wise to also believe that the young could be possessed by the dead instead of being an incarnation of the deceased. Be warned and do not believe because that is merely the latency of its disbelief much like Fear is Greed suppressed and Greed is merely Fear expressed.

Fame, Fortune & Immortality are the facades/advertising-departments of/for Malevolence, FF&I being of materialism, oka of limitation. One reason why every beginning has and ending much like a birth will always end in death, sooner or later – unless one is mired into the wetdream of politicians and propaganda – that of The Middling Truth, the truth which has neither a beginning nor an ending. The one that uses Sympathy, oka being privy only to the localised view, to do its dirty deed by using imagination/illusion-delusion to speak/cover for the beginning and its ending. And this is how propaganda damages complete nations via the sympathico within the democratico.

Believe/Own nothing and Nothing will be able to own you. Reality is Who You Are whereas Relativity/The-Unreal is What You Do. Only when What You Do is Who You Are will you then be for real. The next step on The Journey towards Truth is to realise whether that reality promotes benevolence/selflessness or malevolence/selfishness.

The Spiritual exists. Afterall, no human is born with Thought which was when a human senses via The 6th Sense of Absoluteness. It is when that human acquires Thought that he then relinquishes his absoluteness/reality for the relativity of the 5 fundamental senses of malleability/materialism. One reason why many humans see with their ears and their Thought too. Thought come in 2 flavours, namely The Past/Emotionality-Conditioning/Gross-Femininity or The Future/Material-Intellect/Gross-Masculinity. It is benevolent to [be able to finally] realsie that Thought is symbolised by The 2 Horns of The Devil but should you be unable to verify this fact/reality, it is best not to think about it and forget about it.

Reality is Of Self[lessness]/Empowerment whereas Relativity/The-Unreal is one of Knowledge/The-Other/Selfishness, one’s Thought being the product of The Mesmeric Tentacle of The Bookie, oka Religion & Religiosity, a religion being the knowledge which lacks empowerment/realisation. The Spiritual is about being Empowered and not one of Knowledge/The-Other/Imagination/Thought/Selfishness/Relativity. If you have no proof/tangibility of The Spiritual, forget about it otherwise, that’s merely another religion in the making, Divinity/Benevolent-Spirituality being of Self-Mastery and not one of mastering another which is merely its latency of being mastered by another, The MO of Humanity being one Of Ownership Issue.

Fallen angels have the ability to give vulnerable, unsaved children and adults false memories with the express purpose of fostering a belief that God is not as he has revealed himself – Sovereign over life and death – to us in his word, the Holy Scriptures. So-called “near-death experiences,” UFO-abduction “memories,” and “ghost” sightings are all examples of this. Don’t let Satan give you a false worldview! Trust Jesus Christ this moment and receive God’s truth as your shield. (My own children had similar stories but I now recognize them as the enemy’s plan of evil.)

    • Sue Hanson

I’m so sorry to hear that yo have invalidated your children’s very real memories of previouw lives.

      • ChesapeakePirate

Oh, those pesky, ‘false clues of the devil.’ You’ve tried washing them out, you’ve tried shaking them out… Try our new product, “Fundie Fixer,” and you’ll never be the same. (Loved your comment, Sue!)

I’m a magnet for 3or4 year old little boys. I’m a 58 yr old women with prior military experience. when I was 3to8 years old my favorite pass time was to take buckets filled with little green army men out to the backyard and recreate big battles. As an older adult little boys stop me to report various things to me, they are compelled to do so, they insist. Even with protesting and apologizing parents. often the boys finish their report with a salute. the first couple of times it happened at work my coworkers were freaking out. after five or six times they told me to open an army recruiting office in a day care center. I guess a lot of us are old soldiers.

    Have you seen this?

These things really existed. It called “Karma”. What you’ve done while you’re alive will follow you no matter it’s good or not. No way to hide from it, die and born. Come and go for a million of times. Karma destined every life. Have you ever thought of “what is life for?”. Why you’re keep being born and die? Only one way to find the answer…

    • Brian

You don’t KNOW any of that. While these stories may be real, attempting to pin a “why” or “how” onto them at this point is nonsense.

  • ChesapeakePirate

Very, very interesting story. There were a lot of ‘past life’ stories that were a bit of a rage in the 1980s and such. Recently, (as within the past week) something made me think about some of the books I’d read and how there didn’t seem to be any research going on in this subject any more. Good to see it’s still being investigated. Side note to story: I looked up the word “scroofs,” and it’s from the Victorian Era and basically describes a “freeloader.” I’d love to know more about this stuff!!!

Somewhere in the scriptures I read where Messiah existed with God at the foundation of the existing material world and INCARNATED in the form of a child, lived a normal lfe, received the Holy Spirit to minister, was murdered on a cross, died and was buried, assumed his spiritual body again, stood face to face with Saul in his spiritual body and personally taught Saul what he wanted him to do with the Gentiles. So the story is told. The Incarnation of Jesus into a human body opens a big can of worms for those opposed to a spiritual diminsion beyond our material existence. God is a God of laws and the incarnation of Jesus was by a spiritual law of God as I read the story.
