NEW YORK— The NYPD says a pedestrian has died at a hospital after she was struck by a vehicle while crossing a street in Queens.
Police say the driver left the scene after hitting the woman at around 10:20 p.m. Saturday at Queens Boulevard and 71st Avenue.
The woman died later at North Shore University Hospital.
Police identified the victim as 58-year-old Nisath Hossain of Queens.
There was no immediate arrest.
