‘Fly’ under water wetsuit: An underwater wetsuit allows users to “fly” through the water without actually swimming.
Guillaume Binard, a French designer, invented the wetsuit, calling it Oceanwings, which features webs between the legs and arms, giving the user more water resistance.
The website Design Boom described it as an “analogy between aerial and aquatic flight illustrat[ing] this intense tri-dimensional feeling met by the underwater humans.”
“Designing the underwater human flight experience. The wingsuit is one of the most popular icones of our societies, realising the oldest human dream: flying. This project shows the similarities between the air & water environments finding their main diference with density,” reads a statement on Binard’s website.
However, there are no plans for the suit going on sale, according to maker Aqua Lung Dream Lab, which helped manufacture the suit.
