Photos, videos capture protesters blocking traffic

Anti-Donald Trump protesters blocked a metro bus and traffic in Portland, Oregon, on Wednesday, leading to arrests.

In videos and photos posted to Twitter, the protesters were standing in front of a bus while people were trying to get them to leave.

But after a few moments, riot police arrived and detained some of the protesters—to cheers from the crowd.

In another video, a man can be heard asking, “Do any one of you guys have a job?”

Portland Police said 14 people were arrested on Wednesday, KPTV reported.

“I believe that standing up for what you believe in is right, but stopping traffic isn’t the way to do it,” said Molly Nelsen, a bystander.

“I definitely see where they’re coming from and how they’re viewing the situation as something that will affect their lives negatively, but there are also different and more positive outcomes instead of obstructing other people’s lives,” Angela Wyatt said.
