It’s obvious Dwayne Johnson is into health and fitness as seen in photos uploaded to his Instagram page.
But what might not be so obvious is the amount of food Johnson consumes to maintain his hulking figure.
According to ThirtyFiveEight, the 42-year-old actor eats approximately 5,400 calories per day—1,100 calories in cod alone.
The “Fast and Furious” actor also eats 12 eggs per day, gorges on potatoes, steak, and rice—and still manages to get a 32-ounce serving of vegetables in for good measure.
But it isn’t all eating. Johnson does cardio for one hour between the hours of 4 and 5 a.m and pumps iron for 90 minutes after breakfast. As for supplements, he takes 15 grams of glutamine and tablespoons of omega-3 fish oil.
As you can see, the work pays off.
