A woman upset that her husband wouldn’t join her on the Splash Mountain ride at Florida’s Disney World was captured on camera.
The picture, captured by the typical roller coaster camera that snaps photos right after a particularly intense portion of the ride, shows a couple in the back of the log car smiling and yelling and two women and children, presumably mothers and sons, having a great time in the front two seats.
But in the middle the angry woman sits alone, and she actually stares straight at the camera as it takes the picture.
The photo was posted on Reddit by her husband, who merely said: “I wouldn’t go on Splash Mountain with my wife.”
The wife, Jordan Alexander, later explained to CNY Central why she was so angry.
“It was a long day. I had Bronchitis, I had a crying baby, and my husband informed me that he doesn’t have it in him to ride my favorite ride,” she said.
The harsh stare was directed at her husband Steven.
“I kind of practiced it the whole way. And, by the time we got to the last drop I didn’t know where the camera was and so I just guessed and looked over and took the picture and that was that,” she said.
Her husband called it “so perfect.”
