Bill Clinton on Marine Who Brought Up Benghazi at Rally: ‘His mind has been poisoned with lies’

Bill Clinton told a man who identified himself as a Marine to “shut up and listen” after the man heckled him about Benghazi at a campaign rally in South Carolina.

The man, who said that he had done two tours of military service in Iraq, started asking Clinton a question about the Veteran’s Administration, but then suddenly pivoted to the issue of Benghazi.

“We had four lives in Benghazi that were killed, and your wife tried to cover it up,” the man said, referring to the terrorist attack on the US compound in Libya, which resulted in the death of Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans.

“Go ahead,” Clinton said.

But as Clinton tried to get a word in, the man kept talking, drawing boos from the crowd.

“This is America, I get to answer back,” Clinton said. “I heard your speech, they heard your speech, you listen to me now.”

I’m not your commander-in-chief anymore but if I were, I would tell you be more polite.

“I’m not your commander-in-chief anymore but if I were, I would tell you be more polite,” Clinton told the man, who was then being escorted out of the premises by security. He replied to Clinton, “and I wouldn’t listen [to you.]”

Clinton told the security guards to not throw the man out.

“Do you have the courage to listen to my answer?” Clinton said. “Don’t throw him out. If you’ll shut up and listen, I’ll answer your question.”

As the man was escorted out Clinton said: “That’s what’s wrong, his mind has been poisoned with lies and he won’t listen.”

After the man was thrown out, the woman videotaping the incident also started heckling Clinton, shouting that Hillary had “lied over 4 coffins.”

“Why are you afraid to listen to my answer?” Clinton asked the woman.

“No, I’m not afraid because I know you’re going to lie,” the woman yelled back at Clinton before being escorted out of the building by security.
