Hu Yaobang's Secretary Calls on UN to Investigate China's Human Rights Issues

Two weeks after the exposure of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s organ harvesting from live Falun Gong practitioners, officials from the U.S. Embassy in Beijing and the U.S. consulate in Liaoning's Shenyang City went to Sujiatun to “investigate” but found no evidence. Lin Mu, secretary to Hu Yaobang, the former Chinese Communist Party Secretary General, believes that, the CCP are most likely to have transferred the concentration camp elsewhere by then. Therefore, he said, that it is necessary to call on United Nations (UN)'s Lawyers Committee for Human Rights and the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights to thoroughly investigate this issue.

There was Enough Time to Transfer the Camp

Lin Mu said that if it was two weeks since the exposure of the CCP's organ harvesting when the “investigation” took place, then the Chinese authorities had most likely transferred the concentration camp already, and therefore nothing was left to find when people went to investigate and one would not be able to find any evidence.

Although unsure of the veracity of claims that there are 36 concentration camps similar to Sujiatun existing in China, Lin Mu said he had heard a lot about torture being used in Chinese prisons, not only on Falun Gong practitioners, but also on thought-criminals and political prisoners, who were beaten or shocked by electric instrument. He had heard about these things in the past.

“To conduct a thorough investigation in China which comprehensively included all places where prisoners could be locked up, one would invariably find a lot of problems.” Therefore Lin Mu believes that the only recourse is to call on the UN's Lawyers Committee for Human Rights and the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights to investigate China's human rights issues thoroughly. He said that the CCP's live organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners not only violates international law, but also China's law.

Lin Mu suggests organizing a signature petition campaign that demands the UN's and the international society's attention and to appeal to the aforesaid two organizations. China is a member of the Lawyers Committee for Human Rights, and it is therefore relatively difficult to pass anything through this committee, but it is more realistic to demand the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights to investigate.

It is Inhuman to Harvest Organs from Live Bodies

In Chinese traditional culture, a human body is to be protected, and the “entirety of the body” is to be preserved, even hair. It is a crime to dissect or dismember the human body. Lin Mu said,

“According to Chinese traditional culture, it is inhumane, illegal and cruel. It is clearly a crime against humanity. And the Chinese Communist Party's evil acts of organ harvesting from live bodies are even more brutal and ruthless.”

Lin Mu said that when a prisoner before death requests to donate his/her body for medical research and only under such circumstances, is it legal and allowed. Even if the prisoner is sentenced to death, as long as he or she has not expressed such a wish, using his/her body after execution is a violation of the law and a crime. Therefore, the CCP's organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners, who are practicing cultivation and trying to become better people, is indeed the most heinous crime.

Chinese Communist Party is Violence plus Lies

The CCP can deny anything. Lin Mu mentioned that lately, when the spokesperson of the Public Security Department met with the Hong Kong reporters and was asked about “conflicts between the police and common folk”, they replied that no such thing existed.

At present, this kind of conflict between the police and common people has led to many conflicts with bloodshed, and the situation has become very severe. How can anyone still claim that such a condition doesn't exist? Lin Mu wondered how did such an autocratic and totalitarian government form. It is really just violence plus lies. If it doesn't tell lies, how can it survive? If it told the truth, it wouldn't have survived.
