Prince William Rumors: William Doesn’t Want to be King, ‘Gives up Throne’ for Kate

Prince William has “stunned the royal family” and given up his right to the throne of England over pregnant wife Kate Middleton, according to a tabloid report on Thursday.

Details are scant, but a report from Globe magazine claims that William “told the heartbroken” Queen Elizabeth II that he doesn’t want to be king. It describes the matter as the “Love Story Of The Century.”

Citing unnamed sources, the tabloid adds that he did it “to save pregnant Kate.” The edition of Globe will be available Nov. 10.

Over the years, there has been rumors about William’s desire to be king.

Last year, Globe reported that William, after his son Prince George was born, was “named king” but that obviously didn’t pan out or really happen.

Meanwhile, Kate has been still dealing with severe morning sickness during her pregnancy, according to reports. She appeared at a royal event more than a week ago to meet the president of Singapore and appeared to be feeling better.

According to Hollywood Gossip, a source said that Kate “can be sick up to 20 or even 30 times a day.”

And she is also feeling pressure from the Queen and other members of the royal family, the report adds. “Queen Elizabeth has a very strong work ethic and hardly had to cancel any duties in her lifetime due to ill health. She will always put work first,” another source said.

“She believes Kate should be doing the same.”

There’s also been rumors that Kate is “living separately” from Prince William.

“Initially, when Kate was still dealing with the morning sickness, it made sense that she would want to be with her parents – especially since Prince George came to stay with her, and his nanny as well. And you know, we just assumed that Prince William was visiting her as often as he could, considering his own busy schedule and all. Except now that Kate is doing better – and in her own words, she IS doing better – why is she still at her Bucklebury home?” says rumor-mongering website Celeb Dirty Laundry.
