Sand sculpturists displayed their works at the beach in Weston, England, on Monday during the Weston-super-Mare’s Sand Sculpture Festival.

The event has been held for the past six years and this year’s theme was that of the Amazon jungle.

The resort’s event brings the top sand artists from around the world and runs throughout the summer.

In 2005, organizers of the festival went to test the sand at Weston and noted that it was of high quality for sculpting. “It’s a sculptors dream come true!” said the organizers on their website.
