Former IRS Commissioner Douglas Shulman resigned recently after it came to light that the agency was targeting conservative groups.

Koskinen has recently served as the non-executive chairman of Freddie Mac, from 2008 to 2011, and as president of the United States Soccer Foundation from 2004 through 2008.
