Miguel the singer has been charged with two counts of driving under intoxication, or DUI.

The charges come from an August 15 arrest in Los Angeles, reported TMZ.

The 27-year-old singer was initially stopped for having windows that were too heavily tinted. During the stop, police officers tested Miguel for alcohol, and found his blood alcohol level was .10, just above the legal limit in California.

Miguel is scheduled to go before a judge next week.
