Global Q&A, ‘Do you believe war is necessary to appreciate peace?’
Annika Melin, 48, Webb Project Manager. Lund, Sweden: No, I don't think that peace is lack of war, but I believe it is important to work for active peace. Even if a country doesn't have war, it doesn't mean that everything is perfect, and there is only peace in that country, instead, in reality a lot of conflicts and problems can lie under the surface. It is important to work with this, seriously, to prevent war and in the long run, to create peace and harmony. (Epoch Times)
