Cheesecake Factory offering, for instance, half-priced cheesecake slices

National Cheesecake Day, the unofficial holiday celebrated on July 30, is seeing businesses across the nation take advantage.

Several franchises and one-off restaurants are using the occassion to get people into their establishments, offering deals on the popular rich dessert.

Nationwide, Cheesecake Factory locations are offering up half-priced slices of cheesecake for any guest who eats at their establishments. But there are also many more local options to be had, including:

In Brooklyn, New York, Junior's is offering a slice of cheesecake for free if you buy a meal. If you just want the cheesecake, you can pay just 60 cents, down from $5.99 normally, reported WABC.

In Chicago, lovers of the popular and high-calorie will be able to get their filling at Eli's Cheesecake, reported NBC. Eli's will feature a different flavor every hour and will feature “Cheesecake Dancers” and songs.
