Alan Mason, 29, is being sought by police as a person of interest in a series of sexual assaults that have taken place in Dallas, Texas over the last several months.

The attacker typically takes out a handgun after stopping women who are walking, and threatens them, taking them to a secluded place. He then sexually assaults them, then lets them go.

Crime Stoppers  has offered $5,000 and Oak Farms $10,000 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the attacker.

Police are looking for Mason because they received a tip that he “needed to get out of town because he had done something wrong,” reported Fox.

Mason is described as black, 5‘10” and 185 pounds.  Victims say the man who attacked them is black, about 25 to 30-years-old, between 5’ 6'‘ and 5’ 11‘,’ and weighs about 200 pounds.

The attacker drives both a grey Honda Civic and an older model grey Volvo Sedan.

Police haven’t explicitly named Mason as a suspect, just a person of interset at this point.
