Lil Wayne hospitalized: While shooting a video in Los Angeles, rapper Lil Wayne apparently suffered another seizure and was hospitalized.
Lil Wayne was reportedly hospitalized recently after suffering seizures in Los Angeles.
Celebrity news website TMZ said the 30-year-old rapper suffered a seizure on Tuesday and was taken to Cedars-Sinai hospital. The incident took place when Lil Wayne was shooting a video.
The website said Wayne is “doing much better now” after he was released from the hospital.
Wayne and rapper Nicki Minaj were in California shooting a music video for Minaj’s single “High School,” according to Twitter posting from Minaj and reports earlier this week. Minaj posted a photo of her and Wayne.
Last October, Wayne’s private jet was forced to make an emergency landing after he had a seizure-like attack.
“Lil Wayne was successfully released from the hospital after being treated for a severe migraine and dehydration. He is at home on doctor mandated rest and will return to work soon. He appreciates all of his fans for their support and love,” reads a statement from his spokesperson at the time, according to Hollywood Life.
But in late October, Wayne had another seizure-like attack on another flight.
He told MTV in November that he was taking seizure medication. “I don’t want y’all to think I’m on nothing, man. I’m on seizure medicine, man, that’s all,” he said.
