San Leandro: 24,000 People Without Power, PG&E Says

More than 24,000 people were left without power on Thursday in San Leandro, San Lorenzo, Hayward, and the Castro Valley in California’s Bay Area, according to reports.

More than 24,000 people were left without power on Thursday in San Leandro, San Lorenzo, Hayward, and the Castro Valley in California’s Bay Area, according to reports.

PG&E told KCBS News that power officials are looking at the cause.

There is no estimated time of power restoration, reported KRON-4.

On Twitter, users noted the outage.

“UMMM so did all the power in san leandro go out? All the street lights are off and i got home and nothing on,” wrote one.
