4-year-old mayor? A small town in Minnesota chose a 4-year-old boy as mayor as part of an annual tradition.

Robert “Bobby” Tufts, the child, was named head of Dorset, Minn., which has a population of 22 people, reported the New York Daily News.

“He’s amazing. He’s just completely amazing,” Kathy Schmidt, a local resident, told the paper. “He’s right in your face and well-spoken. You can’t imagine what a ball of fire he is.”

Every year, the town picks a name out of a hat and that person becomes the mayor of the town for a year, reported WFMY-2 television.

He will give up the post in August when another person will be selected as mayor.
