NEW YORK—Brooklyn District Attorney Charles Hynes will be appearing in a new reality TV show called “Brooklyn D.A.”
The six-part series will air on CBS starting May 21.
According to a press release obtained by the Daily News, CBS said the show “follows … hard-charging prosecutors (with) larger-than-life personalities both inside the courtroom and out. They’re eccentric and living right on the edge.”
The show’s executive producer is Susan Zirinsky of “48 Hours.” She said the show will be about “law and justice,” not politics.
The series will delve into several of the office’s biggest cases, including its failure to land a top-count murder conviction against Lamont Pride for the 2011 shooting of Officer Peter Figoski.
