A 5.5-magnitude earthquake struck northern China on Friday evening, the U.S. earthquake agency said.
The quake struck at a depth of 7.8 miles and occurred near Changling, Changchun, Kaitong, Qianguo, and Fuyu, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
It appears the quake was centered around Jilin Province.
It is unclear if there were any injuries or reports of damage.
