Police said that at least four people were stabbed at a Pittsburgh Target late on Monday, it was reported.

In the East Liberty part of the city, authorities were called to the Target at around 5:30 p.m. When they arrived on the scene, they found four or five people injured, reported KDKA-TV. At least four of them were stabbed.

None of the injuries are life-threatening, the station reported.

Police then arrested a man, who is accused of using a long kitchen knife to stab people on the second floor of the Target.

Eyewitnesses told the station that the stabbings appeared to be at random.

Local Chris Jones told the station that he heard a disturbance upstairs and noticed women screaming before he attempted to help.

“What I decided to do was run upstairs and help anyone that needed help,” Jones said. But when he went upstairs, the suspect “was getting his tail whooped with a bat, with fists,” he said.

“He was getting tore up and I think he deserved it,” Jones continued.

WPXI television reported that a 16-year-old suffered the worst injuries in the incident and was taken to a children’s hospital.

“I saw this guy walk past a group of older gentlemen swinging a knife,” local Tyrique Walker told the station. “I walked up to the Target and saw him go inside. So I went up to a security guard and told them a guy who stabbed someone outside was in the store.”

Another witness said the man grabbed the girl by her hair and made threats.

“I went back up the top of the steps, and he had this girl by the top of her hair,” the witness told WTAE. “He just kept screaming, ‘I’ll stab her again.' He kept stabbing her. Me and like four or five other guys, they ran and tackled him.”
