Boxing Day hunts, an English tradition, took on a new look six years ago when hunting with dogs was banned in England and Wales. The hounds are allowed to chase a scent, but cannot kill anything, leading some hunts to put down an artificial scent for them to follow. The ban did not deter people from participating in this year’s celebration, as over 300 hunts took place throughout the country with an estimated 300,000 people riding or following along.
