Hong Kong Football Newedge Club defeated Abacus Kowloon at the Football Club ground in their HKRFU Premiership Round 3 match 42:19 on Saturday Oct 13 to strengthen their top of the standing’s position.

Newedge were down 9 points to 12 at half time to visitors Abacus Kowloon.

Both teams started the second half well, scoring converted tries to take the score to 16:19. At that stage, Kowloon seemed to have the game under control, but the Newedge Club pack then powered forward producing three further converted tries and an unconverted try that was run into the corner right at the end of the game.
