Lance Armstrong can still do a great deal of good. Encourage him to come clean: http://goo.gl/12WvP

Wow. Shocked that his sponsors fled, but I understand they are sensitive about their images. I agree with Ms. Everton–Lance can still be a great figurehead in the fight against cancer and to support cancer victims and survivors. Getting him out of Livestrong doesn’t really help anybody.

Lance should admit what he did, explain that it was how things were done, admit he knew the risks and that it wasn’t really right, and get back to the business of fighting for cancer sufferers.

He might make a good anti-doping spokesman as well–”I had it all and lost it all because of drugs. In the end, drugs gained me nothing but shame.”

Of course he first needs to admit what we all know anyway.

Come on Lance–do it for the people you might help in the future.
