On Wednesday, the Chicago Blackhawks came from behind to beat the Colorado Avalanche extending their record-breaking streak to 24 games with at least one point to start a regular season (unbeaten in regulation). Their streak, going back to the end of last season, extended to 30 games, just 5 games shy of the all-time record set by the Philadelphia Flyers in 1979-80. Their streak is made up of 21 wins and 3 losses in overtime/shootouts.
