HOUSTON—Spotting talent is something Al Levi has built his career on.
Mr. Levi describes himself as a headhunter. As the owner of a specialized recruitment firm in Houston, Texas, he has spent the past 40 years finding talented people to fill vacancies in U.S.-based firms, including Fortune 100 companies.
On Dec. 29, Mr. Levi saw Shen Yun Performing Arts at Jones Hall for the Performing Arts. He said he was quite pleased by the performance.
“It was very aesthetic. It was excellent. The music was great. The dancing was superb,” he said.
Mr. Levi said he enjoyed the entire performance, and particularly the finale.
It was a great finale.
“The choreography was excellent. The finale was what’s happening in China right now. Just the whole story about the modern era, what’s happening right now, [it] just brought it all together. It was excellent, very good. It was a great finale,” he said.
‘Worth coming to see several times’
Retired businessman Stan Schwalek said he enjoyed seeing such beautiful dancing on stage in Houston, and was also impressed by the colors of the costumes and the Shen Yun Orchestra.
“Well worth coming to see several times,” he said.
