DALLAS—Mr. Payman Pahlavan, owns CHT Systems, which manufactures electronics and specializes in home theater systems. “It was very wonderful. I loved the costumes. I was just counting how many costumes they changed. All the fabrics and all the costumes were very beautiful—a very graceful show,” Mr. Pahlavan said. He saw the sold-out performance at the Winspear Opera House on Jan. 3.
“I used to be in the staging business, and film production,” said Mr. Pahlavan. “I love the orchestra and I love the interaction between the screen and the artist, it was beautiful.”
He laughed and said he found it so inspiring that he was going to go home and dance.
“A performance by Shen Yun is a presentation of traditional Chinese culture as it once was: a study in grace, wisdom, and the virtues distilled from the five millennia of Chinese civilization,” according to Shen Yun’s website.
Mrs. Aidee Corral, owner of Korral Design, a furniture business, said that it was a beautiful performance.
“The dance and how everything was combined with the colors and music, it was wonderful. Very beautiful,” Mrs. Corral said.
Mrs. Corral said she was grateful to Shen Yun for performing in Dallas. “Thank you. I’m very thankful. We needed that—we need it,” she said.
