Valentine’s Day is not only celebrated in the cities where humans crowd, but in all corners of the world where love also exists in the animal kingdom, ranging from kittens to elephants.

It could be the bond between a mother seagull and her chicks; it could be love between two zebras; or it could just be appreciation between two strangers who want to be together for this special occasion.

Here is a collection of animals showing their affection for each other, put together in honor of Saint Valentine’s Day.
