Big, tough, powerful, mechanically sound, and plenty of performance is the best way to describe the Titan 4×4 Pro.

The Titan Pro shows its stuff on asphalt as well, but it’s at its best off-road.

The 5.6 liter V-8 engine delivers 317 hp and 385 lb.-ft. of torque, handled by a 5-speed automatic transmission with advanced Tow/Haul Mode married to a shift-on-the-fly 4WD system. This is combined with traction-boosting off-road gearing that keeps you moving right on through any kind of terrain or elements.

There are two kinds of folks who are going to want the Titan.

There’s the kind who takes logging a road to work, or carries cargo pulling trailers loaded with livestock, construction materials, or mechanical equipment. Here we have an owner who needs a vehicle to travel the back roads of the high country or through low lands of the Gulf Coast. And here we also have a vehicle with endurance-packed muscle that can work during a Texas summer or a Minnesota winter.

Then there’s the kind that includes office, store, or factory workers, or small business owners who need a rugged truck to complete the job. Maybe they need a good-quality vehicle for hauling in a rural community or big city traffic.

The Titan Pro shows its stuff on asphalt as well, but it’s at its best off-road.

But come time for a weekend or vacation, the Titan Pro becomes the “fun truck,” able to tackle adventures in the woods, or hunting or bird watching in the marshlands. How about a truck for mudding or to pull your favorite bass boat to the lake? Talk about a rush. Should any of these scenarios fit you, Titan Pro may be the truck for you.

Dual front captain chairs with 8-way power driver’s seat, fold flat passenger’s seat, and a 60/40 split flip-up rear seat give you the ideal cabin for comfort and carrying capacity. Steering wheel-mounted controls for cruise control and audio system, Bluetooth hands-free system, power windows, and three 12V outlets are but some of the convenient features for the interior.

Fog lights, black splash guards, privacy glass, unique 18” 6-spoke aluminum-alloy wheels, and body-color bumpers and grille make the Pro impressive on the outside as well.

There are two features on the Pro that I was most pleased with. When 4WD LO isn’t enough for the crawl you’ve got planned, the available electronic locking rear differential is ready and extremely capable. Flip the switch and the ultimate off-road feature delivers equal power to both rear wheels to boost traction and keep your truck moving forward.

The 4-wheel Limited Slip prevents your wheels from spinning with no traction. It includes ABLS, a system that detects when a wheel begins to slip and automatically re-distributes the power from the slipping wheel or wheels to the wheel with the best traction.

Manufacturer’s suggested retail best price is $37,340. EPA fuel economy estimates 12 mpg city and 17 mpg highway.
