The Range Rover is motivated by a 5.0-liter LR-V8 aluminum alloy engine which produces 375 hp with 375 lb-ft of torque. The powertrain consists of a 6-speed automatic transmission, a permanent 4-wheel drive system with electronic traction control, and 2-speed electronic transfer box with electronic center differential.

This powerful engine provides maximum performance and capability under all driving conditions.

The Range Rover I drove was equipped with the beautiful Ivory/Arabica interior, and demonstrated an integrated styling philosophy which included body-colored door handles with glass bank tail lamp plates and a silver tailgate finisher.

There were also 20-inch V-spoke alloy wheels and new Range Rover-branded wheel center caps.

The interior of the Range Rover is truly masterful. The world-renowned, meticulously-appointed interior reaches new levels of elegance and luxury.

A triple-zone automatic CFC-free climate control system and heated power tilt and telescopic leather-wrapped steering wheel with control switches for the electronic cruise control add convenience and additional comfort to a luxury-defined cabin.

One-touch open/close switches for all windows and the sunroof with retained accessory power (times out after ignition shut-off), plus heated double-folding 60/40 split rear seats give you cabin comfort, convenience, and passenger/cargo carrying flexibility.

Puddle lamps in door mirrors, laminated exterior glass panels, and a rear view camera are more features that are practical as well as safety additions.

Speaking of safety, the Range Rover has seven airbags with a supplemental restraint system. A front, side, and head curtain for driver and front passenger, head curtain for outboard rear passengers, and driver-side knee airbag are examples of this comprehensive air bag system. Side-door impact beams for front and rear doors complement the overall safety system.

The Range Rover has an information and entertainment system with a 12.3-inch TFT instrument screen. The touchscreen interfaces with a driver information system composed of a GPS + HDD navigation system with off-road functionality and six-disc CD audio change satellite radio, while offering a world class audio with up to 19 speakers and 1,200 watts for outstanding performance.

The Range Rover is the ultimate luxury all-terrain vehicle. It is recognized as the leader of that sport-utility vehicle category.

The vehicle has a finely crafted interior that is supremely comfortable, with capabilities that can stretch your imagination.

The EPA fuel economy estimates a city mpg of 12 and a highway mpg of 18.

The manufacturer’s suggested retail price is $79, 425. There is an additional luxury interior package and a silver package that will add a few thousand more. But all the aforementioned amenities are standard features.
