NEW YORK—After almost 50 years of embargo, President Obama announced this week that he is lifting some restrictions between the United States and Cuba, allowing Cuban Americans to travel and visit family members, and also relaxing the rules of sending money. Should Obama go even further and let all American's fly directly to Cuba?
Deirdre Ryan, Manhattan, 39, Technology. 'Actually I’ve been to Cuba, and we should be able to travel to wherever we want. I went there through Canada and was nervous at the time of getting caught because Bush prosecuted a lot of people around that time for traveling to Cuba.'
Chase Jennings, Queens, 28, Talent manager. 'Yes, absolutely, but I don't think it's going to happen any time soon. If people really want to get there they can, it's just going to be a little more expensive.'
