The Hague marked the start of the New York-based Shen Yun Performing Arts International Company's European Tour—receiving a standing ovation by all audience members.

Shen Yun Performing Arts, the world’s premier classical Chinese dance company, landed in The Netherlands on March 11, to start the European leg of its 2012 world tour.
“It is just beautiful to see the Chinese culture on stage, really good to see,” Mr. Roston said.
The orchestra was naturally a talking point for Mr. Loot. “I really like the show. It's great," he said during the intermission.
Ms. Bontes said that China's history and tradition, as displayed by Shen Yun, “stimulates me to further deepen my knowledge.”
