Dr. Wayne Steinke was both amused and deeply moved by Shen Yun Performing Arts when he saw the show in Edmonton on Friday night.

Sheryl Paterson, a former dancer, had high praise for the dancers of Shen Yun Performing Arts.
Saskatoon Mayor Donald Atchison praised Shen Yun Performing Arts as a very special show.

Megan Kent said she appreciated the interplay between costume and dance, and the sheer size of the performance.
Mr. Donauer said, “You have to come see it. You have to come see the backdrops, the artwork, the costumes, the dancers and hear the music.”
“The stories are very interesting, about all the different ethnic groups and cultures in China and how they represent each one, so it's just fascinating,” Mr. MacDonald said.
“It is very interesting to see this type of dance,” he said.
“I am enjoying the performance very much,” said Harvey Allen.
Mr. Smith-Windsor said the themes of Shen Yun are universal, and transcend cultural borders.
The “entire production,” Mr. Hill explained that “it's a combination of everything” that amazed him.
