Todd Snow and his wife from Alahambra attended, Todd was taking his wife to a 'special night out.'

"Awesome. It's all tremendous. I have never seen anything like that before, exclaimed Mr. Snow, It's one thing to read or hear about the history, but to see it acted out is something great."

Mr. Snow said his wife was, "She's loving it, she's loving it."

Linda Martinez, a Law Enforcement Deputy Chief from Monterey Park, came to the show after visiting China with her family.

”It was beautiful; it was inspiring,” Martinez said, “The colors were fantastic, and the performers are very talented."

She most liked the part “when the spirits came down and went back up again.”

Ms. Lu, a Chinese salesperson who lives in Alhambra, spoke about coming to see the show with her husband, young son and a roommate.

She expressed that the show was “not only so beautiful, but so spiritual … I can’t stop tearing [up] … My whole family for the second time has come to watch the show. It’s so beautiful, we are so moved, so this year we came again.

“I can’t stop tearing [up] about the persecution happening in China. It shouldn’t be happening there, and what I think is that every person in the world should do something … otherwise, persecution will continue to happen again … that’s the shame of the whole world, not just the Chinese people … we should do something, and stop the persecution … I am a Falun Gong practitioner … I was persecuted when I was in China.”
