Lincecum Wins National League Cy Young Award

NEW YORK—San Francisco Giants pitcher Tim Lincecum was named the National League's Cy Young Award winner for best pitcher on Tuesday.

The 24-year-old won the annual vote of the Baseball Writers' Association of America after an 18-5 record last season which included a 2.62 ERA and 265 strikeouts.
